Gun Control

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” -2nd amendment, U.S. constitution. The right to bear arms is one of the if not the most important liberty afforded us by the constitution. The peoples right to physically fight an unjust government was part of our constitution for a reason. It keeps a fear in the hearts of all politicians who would corrupt our system. It has been along time since the government has feared “the mob”. Because for so long laws have been enforced to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of normal citizens. But our government has by far more firepower then any Militia could legally own in our county. So what happened to our right to rebel? How could we defend ourselves against fully automatic weapons with hunting rifles and shotguns? We can’t, and as long as we have laws forbidding us from owning powerful weapons the government can do what they will, and still keep us under their thumb.
